Khao Sok National Park Khao Sok National Park hosts one of the oldest tropical rain forests in the world and one of the best places to visit in Surat Thani. This park is known as the largest area of virgin forest in southern Thailand and the remnant of this forest are older and a part of the Amazon rain forest and is much more diverse. Tours include jungle treks, elephant experience, kayaking and tubing on the river. The most popular tour in the area is to the Rajaprapa reservoir, also known as Khao Sok Lake.
