Bangkok

The city of Bangkok has so much to offer along the lines of history, culture, traditions and architectural beauty. Your time in the city will be exciting and full of adventure as you visit temples, food vendors and shopping markets. Many people love visiting Bangkok because it can be relaxing even if you are continuously exploring the city and the sites.

Here are a few recommended destinations when you come to Bangkok:

Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun)

This temple is considered to be the most famous and photographed temple in Bangkok, which features a soaring 70-meter-high spire decorated with tiny pieces of colored glass and Chinese porcelain.

Wat Arun is a very beautiful temple in Bangkok. The appearance and design is differnt to the typical Thai temples and it is very nicely located on the banks og Chaopraya river.

If you use water way for travel by river of the king, you will see this temple. Once you get a change to see detail of how they create the art, you will amazing how they use bowl, cup and dishes to form such as big building.

Chatuchak Weekend Market

It is a Thailand's biggest market, and one of the largest weekend markets in the world, as you'd expect, you can find pretty much anything your heart could desire - as well as a lot of things you really don't want. From vintage clothing to traditional Thai handicrafts and - unfortunately - illegally-sold birds and other pets, the 15,000 different stalls make for an incomparable shopping experience.

This is a must visit place if you are in Bangkok. An absolute heaven for people looking for the authentic Thai cheap shopping experience. From first copy Air Jordans, Under Armour tees, Gucci pocket perfumes, souvenirs and a host of other things, you will definitely not go home empty handed.

You can take the bus from King Phet and got down at the Chatuchak Park and walked. It opened up at around 6pm on Friday and runs through the weekend. We would highly recommend to go a bit late as shops were just opening up when we reached.

Temple of the golden buddha (wat traimit)

Located near the entrance to Bangkok’s Chinatown district on Yaowarat Road, Wat Traimit is an easy visit for those interested to uncover the hidden beauty and mystery beneath Bangkok’s most influential Buddha image and community.

Wat Traimit is considered to be a rather modest temple. The main reason people visit Wat Traimit is to view the magnificent splendor of the world’s largest solid Gold Buddha image, known in Thai as Phra Buddha Maha Suwanna Patimakorn.

Tthe architecture here is brilliant. There is so much detail including in the walls as you are going up the stairs to the temple, a piece with an elephant statue protruding from the wall. And the golden Buddha is hard to take your eyes off - extremely shiny. There is so much more inside and around the temple to see and take in.
